On the eve of March 8 in Atyrau was held celebration of businesswoman
The proportion of women in business in the region is 44%. Today women manage 23 thousands business entities of the region. Over the past five years, this figure has increased by 11 times. These figures were announced at a gala event dedicated to the International Women's Day on the eve of 8th of March, organized by the Council of Business Women of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Atyrau region.
Not only members of the Council, but also women - entrepreneurs of Atyrau and from all the seven districts of the region were invited to the celebration. Akim of Atyrau region Nurlan Nogayev congratulated women with Happy Women's Day. "I believe that the International Women's Day should be celebrated not just the 8th of March, but throughout the year. Since the role of a woman, a mother, a wife, a sister and a daughter in a person's life is huge. Woman - it is the beginning of life and its continuation. We - men are always indebted to them. I wish you a long and happy life, let all your plans come true", - said the head of the region.
Opening the event, the chairman of the Council of Businesswomen of the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Atyrau region, a well-known businesswoman Aliya Bekkuzhieva noted that the business woman - this is a special type of social women. "She is the bearer of liberal values, with an increased need for self-realization, creative self-giving, she is - an innovator by nature. That is why our women are working in all sectors of the economy. It is important that women themselves are actively involved in decision-making at all levels in Government. And, in the first place - it refers to the representation of women entrepreneurs in the election management bodies. Without the participation of women in the business development of the country, in politics, in social life, the world probably would not be so full and harmonious".
She also added that today in all seven districts of the region are working Councils of Businesswomen, which united representatives of the agricultural business. By their own example, helping with advice and consultation, they inspire a growing number of rural people to create their own business. In addition to business, business women are members of the Council, participating actively in the social life of the region. They provide charitable assistance. So, last year the Council of Businesswomen of Atyrau region took under its wing 25 children from the orphanage named after Sabyr Kazybaev. Not only members of the Council were invited to the celebration, but also women - entrepreneurs of Atyrau and from all the seven districts of the region. Akim of Atyrau region Nurlan Nogayev wished Happy Women's Day to all present.
After a congratulatory speech Akim of the region presented a group of women the letters of appreciation for their contribution to the development of the region. Among them - businesswomen, doing business in the city of Atyrau and representatives of district Councils of businesswomen. The event ended with bright concert program.
