Large construction companies of Poland are interested in investing in projects that are planned for implementation in Atyrau region. Representatives of the Polish delegation said at a meeting held in the Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Atyrau region. The construction companies of the region were invited to the event. As it was stated by vice-president of the Board of the Polish Cluster of Construction Exporters Andrzej Kozlowski, this is their first visit not only to the Atyrau region, but also to Kazakhstan. The beginning of the Poles' return visit was made last year, when the Head of State Nursultan Nazarbayev during his visit to Poland met with the local business community, spoke about the opportunities of the Kazakhstan market and invited them to cooperate. "Our visit, we can say, still has an introductory character. We need information about the market of Kazakhstan, its capabilities and potential. In turn, we could offer our experience and our achievements and find partners in Kazakhstan. Our delegation includes not only companies that are ready to offer all types of construction services, but also representatives of financial institutions, so that in case of questions from the Kazakh side, they could give answers on all financial aspects", - said Andrzej Kozlowski. During the meeting, the Polish delegation and local construction companies told about their projects and exchanged views on the points of possible cooperation. The result of the negotiations was B2B meeting of the Poles with LLP "Atyrau steel plant" - the applicant of the project "Production of products and equipment for the oil and gas industry". During the visit to Atyrau, the Polish delegation met with regional leaders, major oil refiners and business structures in the region. For reference, we note that for 2016 the foreign trade turnover of the Atyrau region with the Republic of Poland amounted to 118.4 million US dollars and there are all prerequisites for further growth of this indicator.
